Brass cuff - Askari
Brass cuff - Askari
“The ideal cuff adding an ethnic touch to your style!”
Description
Description
This elegant brass cuff was hand cast in Kenya and features a cow bone detail in the center. Our brass is made from old padlocks which are melted at a high temperature then poured into a mold, the brass is then polished by a process called electroplating where a coating is applied to the item to prevent the brass from changing color.
The opening of this cuff is adjustable and measures 3cm.

Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc and tarnishes naturally when exposed to oxygen. Some people like the patina of tarnished brass, and tarnish is actually a protective layer for the impetuous, but you can get the shine of new brass in these simple steps.
